Operations Manager- MCO Airport

About the position

The Operations Manager at G2 Secure Staff, LLC is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the Orlando Airport (MCO). This role involves managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant management experience in the services industry, particularly in aviation, and will be tasked with maintaining quality assurance and implementing safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the Orlando Airport.
• Manage staff scheduling and time sheets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Implement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Conduct quality assurance audits to meet client specifications.
• Monitor employee activity and make necessary adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and the public.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues with passengers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs in the work area.
• Ensure all employees are following safety requirements and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 or more years of management experience in a services industry, preferably in aviation.
• At least 3 years of experience in military police, law enforcement supervision, or industrial security.
• State Security Officer license where applicable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable telephone and transportation.
