The Operations Manager is responsible for support services provided within the Shelter Division. The departments/operational areas reporting to this position include the Community Kitchen Manager, Security Coordinator, and Custodial staff. Duties include scheduling, training, HMIS Administration, Billing, and others as assigned. This position works in partnership with the Executive Director to ensure the highest possible outcomes for Homeless Participants. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the shelter, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and efficiently. This includes managing staff, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for monitoring the kitchen and other departments, managing donations, and ensuring that all personnel receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively. Additionally, the Operations Manager will provide professional coaching and mentoring to staff, conduct performance reviews, and be available for crisis situations as needed.
