About the position

The Operations Manager for Title & Registration at ACERTUS is responsible for leading a team within the Title and Registration department. This role involves overseeing daily operations, developing departmental strategies, managing staffing, and ensuring that the team meets quality, productivity, and service goals. The Operations Manager will also handle special projects aimed at enhancing team efficiency and will be the primary point of contact for performance updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Title & Registration department to achieve quality, productivity, and service targets.
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies, planning, and budgeting activities.
  • Recruit, train, and maintain adequate staffing levels to support operational needs.
  • Deliver regular presentations and reports on performance metrics and trends to clients and upper management.
  • Identify and solve operational issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Foster business growth by understanding client needs and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including responding to inquiries and overseeing team timecards.
  • Resolve client complaints and enhance processes to prevent future issues.
  • Promote a company culture that values high performance and morale among team members.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to surpass company objectives.
  • Foster accountability among team members by recognizing achievements and providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and measure progress toward business objectives.
  • Manage performance against a scorecard, ensuring alignment with key metrics and organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Title & Registration and/or Customer Service.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Experience with client relationship building and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience is a plus.
