About the position

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a small medical practice. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency of the office, managing the doctor's schedule, and enhancing the overall patient experience. The Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing systems and processes that drive growth and profitability while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and operate all operational aspects of the business.
  • Create strategic and operational goals and objectives and execute them.
  • Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Perform full front desk tasks including phones, reminder calls, and ringing up customers.
  • Manage inventory control and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Examine financial data and budgets to create financial forecasts.
  • Rent out rooms to subleases and manage billing for minimum insurance.
  • Chase down outstanding accounts and manage payroll and prescriptions.
  • Maintain client charts and schedules.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager is required.
  • Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and ability to analyze financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health care practices and financial principles.
  • Experience working directly with doctors is required.
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Quickbooks experience is a must.
  • Excellent management skills and experience.
