About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of ABA services, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This role combines operational management skills with clinical expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), requiring strong organizational abilities and leadership to support a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of ABA services, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Utilize RBT knowledge and skills to support and guide clinical staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise the scheduling of therapy sessions, staff assignments, and client appointments.
  • Collaborate with clinical directors and other team members to ensure seamless integration of clinical and operational processes.
  • Manage and support a team of RBTs and other staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and state-specific requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or concerns that arise, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • RBT certification required; additional certifications in ABA (e.g., BCBA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within an ABA setting.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, clients, and families.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and state-specific regulations related to ABA services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
