About the position
The Operations Manager for the Retail Stone Yard Counter Service & Logistics is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing logistics. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on supervising staff and maintaining efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Assisting the front desk with Customer Service
- Managing & balancing daily Cash Receipts
- Coordinating customer activity of business
- Managing incoming & outgoing logistics
- Supervising inventory tracking
- Administering special product requests
- Product ordering and administration
- Overseeing POS front desk operations
- Supervising daily transaction administration
- Training employees in customer service
- Performing regular audits
Requirements
- Strong self-starter with a high work ethic
- Experience in supervising personnel (3-5 years)
- Retail POS experience (2 years)
- Direct customer service experience (5 years)
- Inventory/product ordering experience (2-3 years)
- Proficient in computer skills including Point Of Sale, Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Excel/Word
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
