About the position

The Operations Manager for the Retail Stone Yard Counter Service & Logistics is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing logistics. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on supervising staff and maintaining efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Answering multiple phone lines
  • Assisting the front desk with Customer Service
  • Managing & balancing daily Cash Receipts
  • Coordinating customer activity of business
  • Managing incoming & outgoing logistics
  • Supervising inventory tracking
  • Administering special product requests
  • Product ordering and administration
  • Overseeing POS front desk operations
  • Supervising daily transaction administration
  • Training employees in customer service
  • Performing regular audits

Requirements

  • Strong self-starter with a high work ethic
  • Experience in supervising personnel (3-5 years)
  • Retail POS experience (2 years)
  • Direct customer service experience (5 years)
  • Inventory/product ordering experience (2-3 years)
  • Proficient in computer skills including Point Of Sale, Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Excel/Word
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
