About the position

The Operations Manager at ServiceMaster Restore is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving sales efforts, and leading internal teams with a strong focus on restoration activities. This role involves building relationships with clients, managing staff performance, and ensuring high-quality execution of content restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales experience, leadership skills, and a passion for operations and restoration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, including Mitigation Company owners and Property Management companies.
  • Actively represent the company at local networking events and trade shows to generate new leads.
  • Drive sales and business growth by identifying opportunities and executing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Participate in initial site inspections for new losses to understand client needs.
  • Lead a team of technicians and support staff, providing direction and mentorship.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Track staff performance and create an environment for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee content pack-out projects, ensuring proper procedures are followed for sorting and inventorying.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Ensure all content restoration processes are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain professional communication with homeowners, adjusters, and contractors.
  • Gather and create content for the company's digital media platforms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (college degree preferred)
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a service-oriented or fast-paced industry
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in restoration or a similar field
  • Experience in digital media content creation
