About the position

The Operations Manager for Specialty Rental at Atlas Copco Rental LLC is responsible for overseeing operations processes to ensure productivity and quality in the rental business. This role focuses on developing process improvements that enhance customer service, safety, and financial performance. The Operations Manager will lead initiatives to optimize operations, manage the rental fleet, and support local sales teams, contributing to the sustainable growth of the business in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations processes to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Develop and implement Powerhouse policies and work procedures.
  • Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track production performance.
  • Manage the operations and maintenance of the rental fleet for quality turnarounds.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines using appropriate tools.
  • Communicate with stakeholders about company priorities and projects.
  • Handle customer service and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Inspire and motivate employees through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies in operations and provide timely reports on fleet conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years in Operations, preferably in the Rental Business.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical) is strongly preferred.
  • Application expertise in air and steam technology is a must.
  • Strong influence leadership, presentation, and strategic execution skills.
  • Excellent command of English.

  • Knowledge of the Way We Rent would be useful.
