About the position

CoraCreaCrafts is an online store specializing in unique, vintage-style stationery products, dedicated to delivering high-quality, curated items that enhance the crafting experience. With a wide variety of crafting products and multiple subscription boxes, we serve thousands of global subscribers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations/Warehouse Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning and improvement of our warehouse and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in distribution, warehouse management, and pick-and-pack operations. We are looking for someone who is independent, requires minimal guidance, and is committed to learning and improving our processes. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a small team of 1-3 people, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include overseeing order packing and subscription fulfillment, managing inventory, and performing various administrative tasks. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a small, dynamic, and supportive environment and are excited about the opportunity to grow with the business. The role is flexible, allowing for adjustments in responsibilities based on your skills and interests. Key responsibilities include coordinating team tasks, managing order and subscription processes, ensuring quality control, conducting training and development for new hires, and handling inventory management. You will also be responsible for analyzing costs and efficiencies, managing administrative duties, and assisting with order fulfillment as needed. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tasks and manage team to ensure work is done and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all orders are shipped correctly and in a timely manner, resolving product availability issues.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of subscription box packaging and process orders using an order management system.
  • Ensure all orders are packed accurately and within our standards, communicating with customer service for improvements.
  • Conduct interviews, hire and train employees as needed.
  • Ensure inventory is received, counted, and organized optimally.
  • Review inventory and sales data for promotional sales and inventory turnover.
  • Manage office duties, delegate tasks, and handle payroll and customer service.
  • Help the team pick and pack as needed, handling order shipments and ensuring orders are processed correctly.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with picking and packing and working in a warehouse.
  • 2+ years of management/supervision experience.
  • 1+ years of sales experience is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and other computer applications.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to report and make cost/efficiency improvements.
  • Proactive and eager to come up with new ideas and improve overall operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
