About the position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple residential homes, ensuring quality service delivery, and managing Program Supervisors. This role involves driving accountability, promoting operational excellence, and facilitating effective communication across departments. The Operations Manager collaborates with various teams, including Human Resources and Behavioral Health, to enhance program development and client retention while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop Program Supervisors and staff, providing coaching and performance management.
  • Maximize client census through effective management of bed fill and vacancy coordination.
  • Direct and manage the implementation of behavioral plans and Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring programmatic compliance.
  • Conduct training and evaluate its effectiveness, maintaining optimum staffing levels.
  • Serve as a professional representative of the company to clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in organizational mission and values promotion, ensuring alignment with service delivery.
  • Manage documentation requirements efficiently and oversee on-call rotation responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in direct care or social services occupations.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge of technology for efficient use of company hardware and software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health services and client support plans.
