About the position

The Operations Manager at Nutrien Ag Solutions is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the location, which includes warehousing, logistics, and inventory management. This role involves planning and directing multi-shift distribution, managing field activities, and ensuring a safe working environment. The Operations Manager will also focus on process improvement and cost savings while leading a high-performing team to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall operations of location (warehousing, logistics, inventory)
• Plan, direct, and manage multi-shift distribution
• Oversee field activities, equipment scheduling, and maintenance
• Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, leverage of technology, and improved service within the distribution
• Lead and develop a high performing team to meet goals and work with a cross functional mindset
• Provide customer service for internal and external customers
• Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular safety inspections

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience
• Agricultural based degree desired
• Willingness to travel to include market areas in other states
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
