About the position

We are seeking an experienced Grain Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our grain elevator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of grain while also maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural product operations, with experience in heavy equipment operation and elevator management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized facility.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, including mechanical knowledge to diagnose and address issues.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with management to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality control, and customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grain elevator operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to repair equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
