About the position

The Operations Manager at Courtyard New Orleans Downtown is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all hotel operations departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Engineering. This role focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. The Operations Manager leads a team, ensures adherence to standards and procedures, and works towards meeting property goals.

Responsibilities

• Supports the execution of all operations in hotel departments.
• Manages staff and strives to improve guest and employee satisfaction.
• Ensures standards and procedures are followed.
• Leads specific teams to meet or exceed property goals.
• Communicates goals and results to the team.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses guest concerns promptly.
• Assists in managing profitability and conducting quality audits.
• Conducts human resources activities including hiring and training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• OR a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of experience in guest services.
