About the position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a mental health and substance abuse treatment facility. This role includes managing various services such as mental health care, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and fostering a clean and organized environment for clients. The Operations Manager collaborates with other departments to enhance client care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including safety, environment of care, maintenance, housekeeping, and food services.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements related to safety and inspections.
• Manage the facility's budget to minimize expenditures and maximize productivity.
• Conduct monthly safety and environment of care inspections.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure safe and effective treatment for clients.
• Ensure clients receive adequate meals and special dietary needs are met.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses, permits, and certificates as required.
• Supervise and manage facility operation staffing needs and payroll processes.
• Coordinate client admissions and discharges effectively.
• Implement processes to manage incoming and outgoing mail and client transportation needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of two to four years of progressive managerial experience in facility operations in substance abuse treatment and mental health.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid CPR certification required prior to start date.
• Ability to pass Level II background check (AHCA).
