About the position

The Operations Manager will support the Rector and the mission of Holy Trinity Anglican Church by managing day-to-day operations and facility needs. This role is essential in allowing the Rector to focus on strategic and pastoral responsibilities while overseeing various operational aspects, including volunteer coordination, facilities management, and financial support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage volunteers for Sunday services and additional church events.
• Provide operations support for the TrinKids/Youth Group Director as needed.
• Manage church communications, including weekly emails and bulletins.
• Oversee the church website, including calendar updates and sermon uploads.
• Coordinate annual Family Camp and manage church supplies.
• Attend monthly Vestry Meetings as a non-voting member if requested.
• Ensure building safety and security, including post-service child oversight and door locking.
• Act as the primary liaison for building maintenance projects and communicate with the landlord as needed.
• Assist the Rector, Treasurer, and Accountant with financial administrative tasks, including writing checks and reconciling monthly giving and spending.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of experience in related fields.
• Ability to maintain discretion in dealing with sensitive church matters.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and creating efficiencies.
• Proficient in Google software, Office, and QuickBooks; database knowledge preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug testing.
• A practicing Christian who is active in parish life and aligns with the church's mission and values.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in volunteer management or church operations.
• Familiarity with church-related financial processes.
