About the position

The Operations Manager at Riot Hospitality Group is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing the operational aspects of the bar and restaurant. This role involves overseeing payroll administration, maintaining vendor relationships, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring adequate staffing and employee onboarding. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of the hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Work as a team player and actively contribute to the success of the bar/restaurant experience.
• Manage payroll admin duties, including updating employee punches, updating tip sheets, and finalizing and submitting payroll.
• Work with vendors and the accounting team to maintain records of invoices and ensure timely payment.
• Ensure the venue is in working order and address any maintenance issues with the hotel maintenance team.
• Maintain adequate staffing, onboard new employees, complete I9's, and ensure employees are up to date on certifications.
• Perform other supportive functions as determined by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in nightlife or other related fields.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A guest-oriented mindset.
• Required food and alcohol manager certifications (Title 4 Basic & Title 4 Management, Certified Food Manager).
