About the position

The Operations Manager at Associa is a leadership role focused on enhancing the performance of property management branches. This position involves collaborating with executive leaders to set business objectives, improve employee and client experiences, and ensure financial profitability across branches. The Operations Manager will oversee branch operations, manage agreements, and ensure compliance with company policies and state laws, while also providing mentorship and coaching to branch teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with company executive leaders to plan business objectives and develop organizational policies.
• Coordinate functions and operations between branches, ancillary companies, and home office departments.
• Lead branch management planning, including budgeting and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the branch management agreement renewal process and promote maintenance operations.
• Engage branch staff to improve adoption rates of Community Association/Strata Manager programs.
• Prepare branch management reports and financial statements to assess progress towards objectives.
• Ensure timely corporate Accounts Receivable collections and improve internal controls based on audit reports.
• Educate branch teams on compliance with company policies and federal/state laws.
• Provide motivational mentoring and coaching to branch teams to achieve business objectives.
• Evaluate branch team performance and manage hiring and firing of executive employees.
• Serve on executive committees covering management and operations.
• Act as the Real Estate Designated Broker for the branch, ensuring compliance with state laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in business administration or related field.
• Five plus years of continuous leadership experience in property management or a related service field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
