About the position

The Operations Manager at Block by Block is responsible for overseeing the Hospitality Ambassador Program, providing leadership and daily management to a team of Ambassadors deployed throughout the district. This role emphasizes team management, client interaction, and continuous program improvement, ensuring a high-quality experience for both employees and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight and leadership to the Hospitality Ambassador Program.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of new Ambassadors.
  • Adjust resource deployment based on daily needs and challenges.
  • Identify and solve problems to enhance program quality.
  • Procure and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Report outcomes through various channels including apps and spreadsheets.
  • Engage in hands-on management to coach and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Valid TX Driver's License
  • 5 years of managing teams of 20+
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Availability for nights and weekends
