About the position

The Operations Manager at Big Boy Restaurants is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations for company-owned locations. This role focuses on managing and developing the operations department, ensuring effective collaboration with various support departments to enhance operational efficiency and meet financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and develop the operations department.
  • Develop Area Managers through meetings and one-on-one interactions.
  • Participate in company strategic planning meetings to increase sales and profits.
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate effective marketing programs.
  • Work with payroll to streamline payroll processes.
  • Coordinate with IT to enhance POS programs and procedures.
  • Enforce established quality standards with Big Boy Food Group.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Resources policies.
  • Generate performance reviews and action plans as needed.
  • Regularly review financial results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to participate in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with various departments such as marketing, payroll, IT, and HR.
