About the position

The Operations Manager at DocGo is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality and cost-effective healthcare services across various project sites. This role involves managing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining effective communication among staff. The Operations Manager will also handle hiring, training, and performance management while supporting the operational needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all pertinent DocGo Mobile Health policy and procedures
  • Monitor operations to ensure the delivery of quality and cost-effective service
  • Work with management staff to ensure continuity, consistency, and strong lines of communication
  • Oversee site stocking/cleaning to meet state requirements
  • Ensure personnel maintain a clean, sanitary, and functional site location
  • Perform managerial duties including hiring, corrective action, performance appraisals, counseling, work scheduling, training, and budgeting
  • Manage scheduling and staffing, considering logistics and performance management
  • Support Operations Supervisors and Operations Leads
  • Manage operations of project sites and personnel
  • Identify employees with professional/personal problems and follow up as needed
  • Assist in Risk Management including incidents, accidents, and health and safety
  • Ensure completion of Incident Reports and Accident Reports as required
  • Review incident reports and take necessary action
  • Order supplies in partnership with Operational management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current protocols issued by DocGo
  • Ensure proper communication of company policies within field operations
  • Implement directives issued by the CEO
  • Attend continuing education seminars to improve management skills
  • Maintain company compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Troubleshoot problems in field activities and implement solutions
  • Report problems, information, and suggestions regarding operations to the Division Manager
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience managing a large team
  • Valid CA Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving record
  • 1+ years in a supervisory role
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • 3+ years experience working in a healthcare role strongly preferred
  • Scheduling experience
  • Organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
