Lanham Federal Building, Downtown Fort Worth, TX About Us: Stars and Stripes Café proudly serves the federal workers and visitors of the Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building in downtown Fort Worth. Our mission is to deliver a variety of quality food and convenience items to our customers, ensuring a dependable and friendly dining experience. After tripling our sales in just one year, we're seeking a dedicated Operations Manager with a background in restaurant management to elevate our service standards and take our business to the next level. Position Overview: The Operations Manager will oversee all daily operations, from staffing to inventory, with a primary focus on applying proven restaurant management practices to enhance efficiency and service quality. This role is ideal for a manager who thrives on both independence and responsibility, with a unique opportunity to share in the profitability of the business. Compensation: Profit-Sharing : 50% of the monthly profits, with the owner covering all equipment repairs and utility costs. Profit-sharing calculations will be based solely on food, labor, and daily operational costs. Flexible Hours : After establishing a stable and well-functioning operation, the manager will have the flexibility to set their own hours, provided business growth continues to meet expectations. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory Implement and oversee standard restaurant management practices to enhance the efficiency and professionalism of the cafe Drive customer satisfaction through quality service and product offerings Handle ordering, cost control, and quality assurance of all menu items and supplies Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure team adherence to sanitation practices Collaborate with ownership on business strategies to further increase profitability and efficiency Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience Current Manager ServSafe certification (required) Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and food service best practices Proven track record of improving operations and achieving growth in a restaurant or café setting Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, in person at the Fritz G.
