About the position

The Operations Manager at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of junk removal services. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on customer service. The Operations Manager will spend part of their time on the road and part in the office, ensuring efficient operations and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch junk removal teams to various locations.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and provide updates.
• Monitor and track the progress of removal teams throughout the day.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs, routes, and team performance.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Consistent coaching of Team Members, must be comfortable with providing feedback to others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in dispatching or logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software and other computer applications.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a team player mentality.

• Compensation: $40K-$50K annually (inclusive of base hourly pay and bonuses; pay will commensurate with experience)
