About the position

The Operations Manager at Brink's Global Services U.S. is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring safe and secure management of the location, and driving process improvement projects. This role involves coordinating logistics, maintaining customer service excellence, and leading a dedicated team to achieve operational goals and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and strategic direction, establishing clear and measurable goals and objectives for successful management of the operation.
• Ensure accurate and timely handling of all shipments, making sure they reach their destinations as scheduled.
• Work closely with Operations, Imports, and Exports to identify and resolve errors in a timely manner.
• Leverage systems and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain and provide quality customer service.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed and accurately attached to shipments as required.
• Lead and mentor the team, fostering open communication and cooperation.
• Promote and expand senior-level relationships with key customers and within Brink's, Inc.
• Lead process integration projects to improve service levels for customers in the U.S.
• Ensure staff is properly trained and accountable for meeting goals and maintaining standards.
• Maintain security, safety, and risk management across all business functions to reduce injuries and losses.
• Conduct reviews of operational processes at other locations to ensure consistency and integration with Brink's Armored and other departments.
• Maintain high ethical standards and protect Brink's reputation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years management experience.
• A minimum of 2 years managing profit and loss and key performance indicators.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid weapons permit or ability to pass applicable weapons licensing requirements.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Expert knowledge of logistical operations, products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Lean/Process Improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Brink's proprietary software packages.
• Bachelor's Degree in business.
