About the position

The Operations Manager at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Birmingham, AL franchise. This role involves managing a team of Truck Team Members, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and contributing to a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and experience in various aspects of small business management, including operations and human resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of Truck Team Members and motivating them to achieve their goals.
• Ensuring high-quality execution for all jobs and monitoring post-job satisfaction of customers.
• Maintaining accurate information related to sales, estimates, job/truck, and other operational details in supporting information systems.
• Assisting in the retention of Truck Team members by contributing to a positive work environment and training program.
• Running daily job duties routes for the Truck Team to ensure on-time service.
• Reaching out to customers to introduce them to services and answer questions.
• Assisting the Truck Team in closing sales when necessary.
• Conducting daily sales meetings to review sales numbers and provide coaching.

Requirements

• 2+ years management experience
• 5+ years total sales experience
• Strong phone presence
• High School Diploma
• Driver's license
• 3+ years in a related field
