About the position

The Operations Manager at Koala Insulation of the Sound Shore is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing daily operations within the company. This role involves hiring and training staff, managing budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining equipment and vehicles. The position offers opportunities for advancement into a General Manager role and includes a competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily activities related to service and operations.
• Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
• Ensure all vehicles and rigs are properly maintained and in good working order.
• Determine labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operations goals.
• Manage budgets and forecasts for operations unit.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency and safety.
• Perform high quality insulation removal and installation as needed and inspect jobs upon completion.
• Enforce Koala Insulation operations manual and policies.
• Ensure that all legally required documents are kept up to date.
• Provide continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• 5 years of experience in operations management or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
• Excellent managerial, leadership, and supervisory skills
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interpret financial data to set service goals
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Experience using a CRM preferred
• Willingness to work long hours and occasional weekends
