About the position

The Digital Operations Manager at Design Within Reach is responsible for leading and managing the Digital Operations team to achieve operational objectives in areas such as process improvement, quality assurance, and reliability. This role involves coordinating digital projects, championing continuous improvement processes, and ensuring that the team's strategies align with the global needs of the business. The manager will motivate and involve team members in enhancing processes through creativity and problem-solving, while also providing training and performance coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate digital projects.
  • Champion continuous improvement processes within the Digital Operations team.
  • Streamline and create processes that add global value to product data and digital assets.
  • Ensure improvements meet the needs of the North America business while being scalable globally.
  • Motivate and involve digital operations teams in improving processes through creativity and problem solving.
  • Provide timely feedback and performance coaching to team members.
  • Lead the documentation process for established processes and future needs.
  • Manage and train Digital Production/Operations team members.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of operations-related experience with an understanding of product data and asset management business processes.
  • Functional knowledge of key application systems such as SalesForce Cloud applications, NetSuite, Bynder, and PIM.
  • Ability to lead medium-to-large projects and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Broad understanding of the furniture industry and related business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation and communication software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large datasets.
  • Experience with Atlassian Products, Confluence, JIRA, Airtable, and Wrike.
  • Experience in administering a Digital Asset Management system, preferably Bynder.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of common digital asset formats.
  • Ability to balance customer and business needs in a fast-changing environment.
