About the position

The Operations Manager at Golden Gate Senior Services (GGSS) is responsible for overseeing the operations and processes of the Richmond Senior Center (RSC) to ensure productivity and quality. This role involves collaboration with the Financial Manager, supervising staff timekeeping, processing payroll, and managing various administrative functions. The Operations Manager will also play a key role in improving efficiency, managing quality standards, and supporting the design and implementation of RSC functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RSC processes and operations to ensure productivity and quality.
• Supervise staff timekeeping and processing payroll in collaboration with the Financial Manager.
• Manage the recruiting and hiring process for new staff.
• Improve productivity and efficiency within the center.
• Organize and coordinate center administration and procedures for effectiveness and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the center, supervising custodial services.
• Develop and implement operational and safety processes and systems.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online for accounting processes and assist with financial management.
• Coordinate payments, donations, and manage petty cash and reimbursement requests.
• Play a key role in running company events and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of operations leadership experience in a high-growth, start-up environment.
• Strong multitasking and project management skills.
• Proficiency in modern productivity applications (GSuite, Teams).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Bilingual English/Cantonese preferred.
• Driver's License and access to a car is strongly preferred.
