About the position

The Operations Manager at Crunch Fitness plays a crucial role in the management team, working closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for creating a fun, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere while being detail-oriented and passionate about health and fitness. The Operations Manager will deliver an exceptional experience for all members and guests, setting a positive example for other employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the club's programs, facilities, schedules, and equipment.
• Manage all operational systems, processes, and policies.
• Handle club scheduling, uploading to When I Work, and labor edits.
• Oversee club email accounts and maintenance/cleaning crew.
• Perform daily club walkthroughs and act as a liaison for corporate accounts as needed.
• Ensure effective communication of all promotions to members and guests.
• Conduct membership sales presentations and present personal training packages when needed.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts.
• Greet all members, guests, and staff with a smile and check them in according to company procedures.
• Answer phones in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward them to the General Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist in all projects as delegated by club management.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook and participate in monthly or weekly department meetings/employee training.

Requirements

• Experience in management or operations
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Sales and fitness background preferred
• Current CPR/AED certification
