The Operations Manager at Valcourt Exterior Building Services of Florida LLC is responsible for leading and managing branch operations in Miami, FL. This role focuses on achieving business goals and maximizing profitability by building an effective operations delivery team, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, optimizing operational performance, and preparing financial reports. The Operations Manager is committed to fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and implementing strategies that enhance safety, productivity, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, firing, and managing operations staff including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Scheduling and assigning contracted projects to the Operations Team.
• Forecasting monthly revenue and gross profit projections.
• Ensuring all operational processes and procedures are followed, including FMI Process, job activations, and change orders.
• Monitoring budgets on all projects within the region and implementing actions to manage projects to budget.
• Ensuring projects are run safely and in compliance with company Safety Policies and OSHA Guidelines.
• Occasionally managing select key projects directly.

Requirements

• Proficient in Procore or equivalent construction management software.
• Experience managing construction services, including suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong financial skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing financial statements.
• Effective oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to lead meetings and build strong relationships.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop direct reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
