About the position

The Operations Manager at Bath Fitter is responsible for overseeing all installation, service, and warehouse personnel within the assigned territory. This role ensures that work is assigned, reviewed, and completed according to company standards while monitoring services, inventory, and materials used. The Operations Manager also plays a key role in enforcing compliance with company policies and safety regulations, ensuring a high level of service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all installation work and customer service issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Leads installation and service teams to complete their daily workload.
• Responds to in-field issues that arise within the installation and service team.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and terminate Installation Technicians, Detail/Service Technicians, and Warehouse Specialists.
• Communicates scheduling needs and changes with the Customer Service Department.
• Assigns work to installation personnel daily and holds weekly meetings with Installers starting at 6:30am.
• Monitors company materials and supplies for appropriate and efficient use.
• Ensures all Installer vehicles are serviced regularly and maintained in good working condition.
• Completes all sales technical training as needed.
• Communicates and enforces compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Strongly prefer 4 years of management experience overseeing 5 or more personnel.
• Ability to work independently and react effectively to business needs.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Possess a valid State driver's license with an excellent safety record.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Competency with technology and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing routing, delivery logistics, construction, plumbing, carpentry, millwork, home remodeling/renovation, bathroom installations, or mold remediation.
