About the position

As the Operations Manager at NatureBridge, you will oversee program logistics and communication with various stakeholders, including school groups and conference coordinators. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the Golden Gate Campus, where you will manage schedules, communicate logistics, and support the Operations Team in delivering high-quality environmental education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth program logistics and communication with school groups, conference coordinators, and Coastal Camp guardians.
  • Communicate with teachers and group coordinators to prepare for NatureBridge programs and translate logistics into itineraries and invoices.
  • Collaborate with other Operations Managers to allocate campus resources and ensure accurate communication across departments.
  • Create weekly staff schedules for all programs, accounting for individual program needs.
  • Work directly in Salesforce and Active (CRM) to prepare customer program communications and manage logistics discussions.
  • Process operations, facilities, and program-specific invoices.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to the Operations Team, including onboarding and maintaining operations manuals.
  • Prepare weekly reports in coordination with department heads for meals, facilities, and groups.
  • Refine and support logistics systems for smooth program implementation.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising Environmental Science Program Site Managers and Evening Support staff.

Requirements

  • Relevant administrative, operations, or educational experience.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex logistical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Experience with Google Suite and database management or CRMs.
  • Valid driver's license.
