About the position

The Operations Manager at Rural Nevada Counseling (RNC) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the agency, ensuring efficient performance and optimal work production across all sites. This role involves supporting the leadership team, managing data analysis and reporting, assisting in grant writing, and maintaining compliance with licensing and certification policies. The Operations Manager collaborates closely with various departments to enhance workflow and provide necessary resources for employees.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the agency.
• Optimize daily activities and work production.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating administrative functions.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting for state and government entities.
• Maintain oversight of licensing and certification policies.
• Assist in grant writing and preparation of RFRs and RFAs.
• Support HR in audits and quality assurance of administrative functions.
• Manage employee onboarding and maintain company property records.
• Oversee building maintenance and company fleet operations.
• Ensure effective communication systems are in place for agency operations.
• Supervise operations staff and maintain positive relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
• Participate in management meetings and community events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in business operations and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in grant writing and public relations.
