About the position

The Operations Manager at Unlimited Restoration, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations within the company. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction, and leading a team of operations personnel. The Operations Manager will also be involved in administrative tasks, reporting, and business development, while maintaining the company's ethical standards and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Department Managers on manpower and subcontractor requirements.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of operations personnel.
  • Supervise and train operations personnel in company policies and procedures.
  • Handle complaints and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Review estimates and job budgets for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through open communication and timely project completion.
  • Monitor and improve operational systems, processes, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training to Department Managers.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's dress code and professional standards.
  • Make recommendations to enhance or streamline operations.
  • Organize and evaluate work processes to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained according to company standards.
  • Schedule and manage weekly sales and production meetings.
  • Analyze job gross profit and department financial statements.
  • Evaluate performance of Department Managers and crews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and Workers Comp regulations.
  • Create and document new processes for review and approval.
  • Implement new company policies and procedures as needed.
  • Identify potential clients and develop tactics to secure business opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in restoration or a similar field.
  • Strong background in restoration and proven leadership skills.
  • Proficient in using a laptop and industry software, particularly Xactimate.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PSA (project management software), Encircle, Docusketch, Moisture Mapper, and other industry tools.
  • IICRC and OSHA certifications.
