About the position

The Operations Manager at TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is responsible for ensuring quality service and support for all mission activities at the assigned location. This role involves organizing and coordinating site teams, adhering to company and customer mission guidelines, and contributing to quality policies and management systems. The Operations Manager will also maintain client relationships, oversee operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and site personnel
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication to clients
  • Set up and supervise missions
  • Coordinate staffing and changes in missions
  • Conduct ongoing audits of work effectiveness
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications for compliance
  • Assist Site Supervisors in training new employees
  • Train and mentor Site Supervisors
  • Coordinate daily schedules and activities of Site Leaders
  • Estimate job costs accurately
  • Document all required information for contracts and instructions
  • Ensure operational management tools are up-to-date
  • Ensure compliance with established KPIs
  • Promote continuous improvement for site efficiency
  • Comply with local and company health and safety legislation
  • Ensure all site personnel receive corporate communications
  • Partner with Human Resources for performance issues
  • Act as a liaison between Site Manager and site leaders
  • Create and maintain a 5S working environment
  • Develop and retain teams
  • Update daily system entries in company and customer portals
  • Create and maintain customer and company reports
  • Analyze technical requirements for customer jobs
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve with suppliers and customers
  • Create electronic work instructions
  • Identify technical resources to address client needs
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in a supervisory role
  • 2+ years in a quality-related position preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or 4 year degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Writing work instructions

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the automotive or aerospace industries
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
