About the position

The Landscape Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of landscape construction projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while leading a team of landscape professionals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage landscape construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor project managers and construction crews, assisting with hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance while fostering a positive work environment.
• Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure quality materials and services at competitive rates.
• Analyze operational processes and develop strategies to streamline workflow, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, conducting safety training and maintaining a culture of safety on job sites.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, problem-solving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in construction management.
• Proven experience in landscape construction management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, landscaping techniques, and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in project management software, landscaping design tools, and budget management.
