About the position

The Operations Manager at Overhead Door Company of St. Louis™ will oversee multiple departments within the Residential Department, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This role requires a passion for managing teams, improving performance, and leading projects to success, leveraging both management experience and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple departments.
  • Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure proper execution of plans.
  • Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget, and to customer satisfaction.
  • Review monthly financial/operational reports and collaborate with front-line managers to develop action plans for improvement.
  • Enhance individual performance of the field force through regular performance reviews.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience in managing employee performance, hiring, and training.
  • Proficient in communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels exceed expectations.
  • Ability for technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
