About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to lead our operational strategies and drive performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, strategic planning, and process improvement, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing business development initiatives and ensuring that all operations align with our company's goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Responsible for achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and the HQ.
• Manage the WMS with up-to-date information.
• Report daily operational issues/topics to the HQ.
• Manage inventory control, shipping, and receiving to achieve high performance and low damage levels.
• Create reports/countermeasures required by customers due to accidents or damage of the customer's product.
• Determine staffing with the equipment needs as volume and projects dictate.
• Manage security and safety programs.
• Handle all aspects of employee relations, including performance reviews and disciplinary issues.
• Manage special projects requested from HQ or the customer.
• Maintain physical facility and ensure a clean working environment.
• Keep correct equipment capacity for effective cost-efficient warehouse results.
• Direct Maintenance and PM programs for lift truck fleet.
• Incorporate and manage all Safety programs and reporting.
• Manage all supply vendors and purchasing, with any required reports for all supply vendors for purchasing.
• Manage all aspects of the distribution operations for the designated shift.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
• Update/check daily/weekly/monthly product movement including reports to HQ.
• Manage any return or damaged parts, with related reports.
• Finalize the monthly sales report or number with the customer and suppliers.
• Send the final sales report or number to HQ.

Requirements

• Bilingual (Korean/English)
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of warehouse/logistics/operations experience
• 3-5 years of supervising/managing experience
• Skills in leadership, organization, communication, and cross-functional teamwork
• Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
• Skill in interpersonal communication
• Skills in using a personal computer and associated software applications including word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), and databases
