About the position

The Operations Manager at ABS Kids is responsible for overseeing the operations of the ABA Therapy center in Gastonia, NC. This role involves providing management support to Behavior Technicians (BTs), ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a positive work culture while supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and administrative staff.
• Oversee facilities management, team communication, and inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to ABS Kids policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development, training, and coaching of BTs in collaboration with management and HR.
• Implement operating procedures and policies aligned with business goals, including tracking KPIs and budgets.
• Act as a liaison between parents/caregivers and Behavior Technicians, addressing concerns.
• Facilitate coverage for cancelled direct care appointments using available BTs.
• Communicate administrative updates and team needs to BTs and staff members.
• Assist in organizing patient and staff activities, including events and team-building activities.
• Support community outreach events in partnership with marketing and business development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience leading a large team of direct reports.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and providing constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential.
• Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis terminology preferred, but not required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, but not required.
