About the position

The Operations Program Communications Specialist is responsible for designing and coordinating internal communication programs within the Experience Organization at Teachers Federal Credit Union. This role focuses on change management, addressing system issues and outages, and facilitating departmental initiatives. The specialist will lead small projects to enhance efficiency and work closely with the Director of Program Management to ensure effective communication of departmental initiatives according to established objectives and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develops content for internal communication programs that support and reinforce organizational objectives
• Creates documents and materials that follow organizational standards and branding
• Develops and executes internal communications between assigned lines of business in accordance with Program Management's communication guidelines
• Creates, deploys, and maintains all educational and change management resources for all new and existing programs and projects for Experience
• Assists the Program Management team with assigned tasks from larger programs and project initiatives
• Plans, coordinates, and organizes within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Performs other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
• Minimum three years internal communications experience required
• Experience writing communications for large teams required
• Knowledge of branch and back-office operations, policies, practices, protocols, systems, and programs preferred
• Working knowledge of financial services from a sales, operations, and compliance perspective in a branch, membership, and call center environment preferred
