About the position

The Operations Program Manager at Figma will lead multiple strategic programs within the Product Support Operations and Strategy team, focusing on delivering value aligned with Product Support objectives. This role involves collaboration with engineering, product, and business operations to tackle high-impact technical and business challenges, requiring strong program management skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex programs from initiation to implementation, including detailed project plans and operational readiness plans.
  • Handle project documentation and ensure a source of truth is easily accessible.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and presentations to keep leadership and collaborators informed on project progress.
  • Proactively anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, translating technical and non-technical requirements into actionable business tasks.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of project deliverables through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the overall Product Support technology strategy, advocating for critical initiatives and influencing leadership.
  • Implement new technologies, evaluate solutions from vendors, and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee and customer experiences, proposing innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of program management experience in a Product Support environment.
  • Experience leading projects with technical scope in partnership with technical teams.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, balancing scrappy execution with structured program management.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Experience handling competing priorities and defining processes for collaboration within and across teams.
  • Demonstrated decision quality, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with AI and ML solutions for Product Support.
  • Product Management or Technical Program Management experience.
  • Experience with programming languages (Python, C++) and data analytics languages (SQL, R).
  • Change Management certification (PROSCI) or Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or Scrum).
