About the position

The Operations Project Manager at Vuori, Inc. plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the Operations strategy. This position combines project management, process improvement, and technology implementation skills to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Operations group. The Operations Project Manager will work cross-functionally with various departments, managing projects and timelines, assisting with executive presentations, driving process improvements, and developing procedures and standards. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, focusing on improving processes, implementing new technologies, and managing change effectively. In this role, the Operations Project Manager will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives for Operations. This includes driving and supporting projects to completion on time and within budget, resulting in improved operational efficiencies and enhanced team performance. The Operations Project Manager will also partner with the Technology team to support and execute technology implementations, ensuring smooth integration and efficient user adoption. The position involves identifying, analyzing, and optimizing existing operational processes to increase productivity and reduce costs. The Operations Project Manager will implement process changes that lead to measurable improvements in quality, speed, and overall operational effectiveness. Additionally, the role requires collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Supporting change management activities in partnership with Change Management is also a key responsibility, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies while achieving high levels of engagement and minimizing resistance to change. The Operations Project Manager will facilitate effective collaboration among departments, ensuring alignment and successful execution of initiatives, resulting in cohesive strategies and improved inter-departmental coordination. Furthermore, the role includes developing and delivering training programs on process improvement methodologies and tools, empowering team members with the skills and knowledge to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence. Finally, the Operations Project Manager will create and present project documentation, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment for informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or process improvement roles, preferably in retail/apparel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with change management principles and practices.
