About the position

The Operations & Proposal Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager of Facilities at Tanaq Government Services. This position involves coordinating daily operational activities and contributing to the development of proposals for government contracts. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure efficient operations and effective proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing management services and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate contract requirements and operational issues and activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and improvements.
  • Manage documentation and ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, communications, and budget tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of proposals for government contracts.
  • Gather relevant operational data and compile necessary documentation to support bids.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, operations, contracts, and finance to collect and organize needed proposal content.
  • Proofread and edit proposal documents, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with solicitation requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in management, project coordination, or government contracting support.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with experience in administrative or operational roles.
  • Experience with federal government contracts and familiarity with the proposal development process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes and regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
