About the position

The Operations Research Analyst, Junior position at Scientific Research Corporation involves analyzing both actual and predictable operational activities within military, governmental, or business systems. The analyst will also be responsible for conducting research and preparing both draft and finished technical presentations for program management and customers. Additionally, the position may involve leading major program and design reviews, as well as participating in significant proposal activities. The analyst will perform research and analysis on projects aimed at enhancing the technical and economic development of products and services offered by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational activities of military, governmental, or business systems to support decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Utilize modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, and engineering methods to determine solutions.
  • Research and prepare draft and finished technical presentations for program management and customers.

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or statistics.
  • Two years of work-related experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience with modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, and engineering methods.
  • Experience in researching and preparing technical presentations for program management and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in mathematics or statistics is preferred.
  • Top Secret Clearance is desired.
