Axient is seeking an Operations Research Analyst Level II to join our Rapid Assessment team at the Headquarters of the United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements in Washington DC. This position is critical in providing analytic decision support to senior Air Force leaders, focusing on strategy development, operational concept development, and operational challenge studies. The analyst will engage in operational/regional politico-military analysis, develop capability assessments, and support war and mobility planning. The role also involves requirements development, conducting net assessments, and providing decision support for the planning and programming of the Air Force's future operations. The Operations Research Analyst will apply game theoretic and design methods to create or modify exercise environments to test value hypotheses, assumptions, and constraints. The analyst will recommend appropriate players from the Air Force and mission partners to support execution and provide subject matter expertise for the development of customized modeling and simulation tools. In addition, the analyst will implement stakeholder recommendations from across the Air Force Analytic Community and provide Strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (SPPBE) analytic support. The analyst will also assist in task and workflow management for software applications and models, formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimizing methods, and develop decision support software, services, or products.
