About the position

The Operations Research Analyst Level III will join the Model-Based Mission Engineering team at the United States Air Force Headquarters in Washington DC. This role focuses on providing analytic decision support to senior Air Force leaders, aiding in strategy development, operational concept development, and capability assessments. The analyst will utilize mathematical modeling and digital engineering strategies to enhance mission planning and programming decisions.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and optimizing methods to assist management with decision making and policy formulation.
• Collect and analyze data to develop decision support software, services, or products.
• Develop optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, or a technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in operations research or a related technical field.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.
