About the position

As an Operations Research Analyst at Booz Allen, you will play a key role in analyzing the actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a business. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with various analytical methodologies, including statistics, data modeling, forecasting, and optimization. In this role, you will be expected to analyze large and complex data sets and develop mathematical models that support a variety of client problems. Your experience with programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB will be essential in executing your responsibilities effectively. Responsibilities

  • Analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a business.
  • Obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making using logic and scientific or economic techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience with analytical methodologies, including statistics, data modeling, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or MATLAB.
  • Ability to analyze large, complex data sets.
  • Scheduled to obtain a Master's degree in Spring or Summer 2024.
  • Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
