About the position

The Senior Operations Research Analyst at ORBIS INC. is responsible for conducting comprehensive studies and analyses to support various projects and programs. This role emphasizes the application of scientific inquiry and mathematical modeling to evaluate and predict project outcomes, while also providing technical guidance and support. The analyst will engage in cost and economic analysis, life cycle analysis, and assist in long-range budget planning, ensuring effective resource allocation and decision-making for management.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete studies of limited scope or portions of larger projects, modifying/adapting techniques to fit situations.
• Utilize scientific inquiry in the development of mathematical models and computer programs to evaluate and predict project support.
• Provide technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance.
• Attend meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning and advanced technologies.
• Plan, develop, formulate, and prepare required data and narrative justifications for long-range budget exercises.
• Perform a broad range of cost and/or economic analysis assignments using automated software.
• Conduct cost/operational analysis of program/system/project implementation and execution.
• Perform life cycle analysis and economic analysis studies for major phases of varied equipment/systems.

Requirements

• Certifications: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
• At least 5 years of Data Analytics/Operations Research experience
• Bachelor's degree in operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, or related field, or an Associates degree with 8 years of experience, or 10 years of experience
• Strong analytical thinking and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and personal communication skills

• Ability to analyze problems and make decisions efficiently
