As a Senior Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in addressing complex challenges faced by our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to explore the root causes of issues, analyze data, report findings, and develop innovative recommendations for solutions. You will lead an analytics team, employing advanced analytic methods to deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. In this position, you will collaborate closely with operational subject matter experts, technology specialists, and clients to design analytic methodologies, conduct thorough research, gather and analyze data, and interpret results. Your leadership will guide the development and updates of web and cloud-based analytic applications, as well as the production of briefs, documents, presentations, and talking points. You will also be responsible for presenting results to various stakeholders and participating in program meetings to drive improvements in program efficiency. Your expertise in operations research will be essential as you apply qualitative and quantitative methods, models, and processes. This includes utilizing logic models, mathematics, statistics, engineering methods, and principles of economics to conduct optimization, sensitivity analysis, deterministic and stochastic modeling, simulation, return on investment analysis, cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis, and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). You will leverage your subject matter expertise to inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and other critical staff processes, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of service and support.
