About the position

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a full-time Operations Research Analyst to support the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center. This role involves applying systems engineering best practices to translate mission requirements into technical specifications, ensuring interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. The analyst will perform statistical analysis and data analytics to guide decision-making and recommend process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Performing statistical analysis and data analytics in support of mission engineering studies.
• Documenting the action of studies, recommending study participants, and defining timelines and deliverables.
• Producing engineering analysis reports informed by mathematical modeling.
• Supporting limited scope technical quick reaction analysis of NC3/NLCC systems issues.
• Advising the Government in defining NC3 Enterprise Figures of Merit (FOM) targets.
• Supporting the development of Measures of Effectiveness & Performance (MOE and MOPs).

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have and be able to maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
• High School Diploma
• 11+ years relevant experience including 5+ years in optimization, data mining, statistical analysis, and/or mathematical modeling
• 2+ years' experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field
• NC3 experience (desired)
