LinQuest is seeking a full-time Operations Research Analyst to join our team in Dayton, OH, supporting the F-35 Fleet Management Office (FMO). This role involves developing and managing solutions to support future F-35 logistics and sustainment requirements. The Operations Research Analyst will compile, measure, analyze, and visualize disparate data sets related to F-35 performance, cost, and sustainment metrics. The insights derived from this analysis will be used to report status and answer questions both internally and externally to the USAF. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, metric development, and modeling to evaluate current and future capabilities. A strong understanding of operations research techniques, including simulation and forecasting, is essential. The Operations Research Analyst will be responsible for extracting and aggregating data from multiple systems, creating data visualizations to drive insights, and coordinating closely with government analysts. Additionally, the role requires translating work tasks into work requirements in support of client projects and formulating new procedures and methods to answer questions, collect data, and assess projects. The candidate will apply their knowledge of operations research, mathematics, and analytical techniques to assigned work, staying abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to serve as a technical expert on model simulations. Conducting studies to evaluate, inform, and improve decision-analytic models is also a key responsibility. The Operations Research Analyst will prepare briefings, papers, and summaries necessary to achieve organizational goals and objectives, integrating data into probability statistics to identify trends or relationships among variables.
